PRIYANKA, a Los Angeles-born DJ and creative, blends the rich influences of her Sri Lankan Tamil heritage with the multicultural diversity of her LA upbringing. Trained in classical Indian dance from a young age, her deep connection to rhythm and movement naturally evolved into a passion for music. After a successful career in entertainment marketing at Disney, PRIYANKA redirected her creative focus to DJing, honing her craft in turntablism at the renowned Beat Junkie Institute of Sound. Known for her ability to seamlessly fuse genres, PRIYANKA’s dynamic sets span RnB, Neo-Soul, Bollywood, Amapiano, House, Baile Funk, and global sounds, reflecting her multicultural influences. Her performances have taken her to stages around the world, including iconic venues like The Echo, AVALON, Elsewhere, and The Troubadour, and she’s shared lineups with trailblazing artists and collectives such as Tinashe, Priya Ragu, DJ Habibeats, and No Nazar. 
In 2023, Priyanka’s breakout YouTube mix “Indi- amapiano,” a vibrant blend of Bollywood vocals and Amapiano rhythms, went viral, amassing over 1 million views and cementing her place as a rising force in the world music scene. Her online mixes continue to connect to the hearts of listeners worldwide.
